You are invited to attend the Philadelphia Regional Mass Shooting Preparedness Forum on September 24, 2024, in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS), in partnership with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Task Force, has developed this forum to focus on the vital roles that regional, state, and local leaders play in preparing for and responding to mass shooting events. This executive-level forum will incorporate nationally recognized subject matter experts specializing in emergency management, and mass casualty preparedness and response.
Who Should Attend?
This Forum is limited to invited participants and is designed for elected and local leaders from Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties, including:
- Mayors
- City Managers
- County Officials
- City Council Members
- State Legislators
- Emergency Managers
- Public Information Officers (PIOs)
- First Responders
- Public Health Officials
- School District Officials
- Others who would provide leadership during a mass shooting incident
No-Cost Event
There is no cost for invited participants. This forum is hosted and funded by the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security in partnership with Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Task Force.
Registration will remain open until we reach capacity.
